How to check the ignition electrode

1. The gas stove ignition needle is a metal needle fixed in a ceramic jacket, which does not have electronic components. It can be judged from the appearance of the surface whether it is damaged or the on-off or resistance size can be measured with a multimeter;

2. Disassemble the gas stove, remove the ignition needle to observe whether the tail of the ignition needle and the head metal are dirty, the multimeter measures the resistance value from head to tail should be zero, if the resistance value is too large, the surface is too dirty. At this time, the ignition needle should be sanded or directly replaced;

3. Observe whether the coat ceramic column of the ignition needle has cracking or high-pressure fire erosion, if the local yellowing has a ignition point, it means that its ceramic insulation performance can not continue to be used, should be replaced. If there is a cracking situation, the new ignition needle should also be replaced in time;

4. Check whether the steel needle and ceramic of the ignition needle are loose and displaced, and if there is a loosening situation, the ignition needle should also be replaced in time;

5. If the ignition needle and the ignition line are integrated, when detecting, it is also necessary to measure whether the ignition line and the ignition needle are well connected and whether the resistance value is close to zero ohms. If the resistance value is large, the contact resistance is present, and the ignition pin must be reconnected to the ignition wire to ensure good conduction.
