1. The spark electrode of the gas stove is a metal needle fixed in a ceramic casing, and there are no electronic components in it. You can judge whether it is damaged from the outside or measure its on-off or resistance value with a multimeter;

2. Disassemble the gas stove, remove the spark electrode and observe whether the metal on the tail and head of the spark electrode is dirty. The resistance value from the head to the tail should be zero when measured by a multimeter. If the resistance value is too large, the surface is too dirty. At this time, grinding or direct replacement of the spark electrode should be carried out;

3. Observe whether the outer ceramic cylinder of the spark electrode is cracked or ablated by high-voltage ignition. If there is a spark point in local yellowing, it means that its ceramic insulation performance has deteriorated and cannot be used continuously, and it should be replaced. If there is cracking, a new spark electrode should be replaced in time;

4. Check whether the steel needle and ceramics of the spark electrode are loose and displaced. If there is looseness, the spark electrode should be replaced in time;

5. If the spark electrode and the ignition wire are integrated, when testing, it is also necessary to measure whether the ignition wire and the spark electrode are well connected, and whether the resistance value is close to zero ohms. If the resistance value is large, it means that there is contact resistance, and the spark electrode and ignition wire must be reconnected to ensure good continuity.
